Position: Full-time (Remote)  
Term: Long-term  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code using Kotlin, Typescript (for backend development and requires handling a complex central codebase);
• Support production applications including on-call responsibilities;
• Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs;
• Help improve, expand and maintain our acquisition, applicant and customer APIs;
• Design and implement database schemas with a focus on data consistency, integrity, and optimization;
• Optimize and maintain database performance for high-volume applications;
• Work with the engineering and product team to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life for our customers.

Requirements:

• Experience as a backend developer with a focus on Kotlin;
• Experience with TypeScript as a backend developer;
• Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc);
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration tools;
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation.
