Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to manage, grow, and nurture a portfolio of key customer accounts. The ideal candidate has experience in managing long-term relationships, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, and aligning technology solutions with client goals to maximize impact and revenue.
This role is crucial to Sphere's growth strategy through expansion of current accounts via upsell, cross-sell, and relationship development. You will work closely with practice leaders, delivery teams, and executive sponsors to ensure client success and identify additional opportunities for value creation.
Location: Spain, Portugal, Poland, Ukraine
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts;
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, VPs, Directors);
- Ensure consistent client satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
Account Farming & Growth
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on upselling and cross-selling;
- Identify expansion opportunities across services such as AI, Data Modernization, Cloud, Product Engineering, and Staff Augmentation;
- Track and increase account revenue and margin targets.
Commercial Ownership
- Collaborate with internal delivery and sales teams to scope new work;
- Own the commercial pipeline for each account and partner with solution architects and practice leads to close deals;
- Negotiate renewals, change orders, and new service contracts.
Execution Support
- Monitor ongoing engagements to ensure alignment with client expectations and evolving needs;
- Escalate delivery issues appropriately and coordinate resolution with internal teams;
- Ensure Sphere is delivering measurable impact and communicating value to the client.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or consulting sales within technology services;
- Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, digital transformation, and enterprise software services;
- Proven ability to grow accounts and exceed upsell/cross-sell quotas;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;
- Ability to understand and translate business goals into technology opportunities;
- Experience using CRMs and account planning tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
