Sphere partners with a smart building technology company providing software, AI solutions, and services for real estate, focusing on security access control, smart maintenance, user experiences, and energy management.

Position: Full-time (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance coding standards and test-driven development in an Agile environment.
- Present technical insights to both executives and technical teams.
- Write maintainable, reusable code following best practices.
- Streamline code deployment to cloud environments.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Automate SDLC processes to boost developer efficiency.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development in JVM environments.
- Experience in Object-Oriented and Functional Programming (event loops, threads, memory management).
- Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
- Proficient in system architecture, design patterns, and scaling.
- Skilled in test-driven development.
- Experience with databases (Postgres, SQL Server) and tools (Slick, Doobie).
- Proficient with Git workflows and tools (GitHub).
