Team Augmentation Practice Lead

Sphere Partners is looking for an entrepreneurial and progressive leader to lead the growth and success of our Team Augmentation practice. The Practice Lead will expand and innovate on the strategies, systems and processes in place that will result in effective growth and service delivery to our clients.  This talented individual will work closely with the sales, delivery, and operation teams, and will be solely responsible for solving the sales and operational problems facing the Team Augmentation practice with the ultimate goal of removing success blockers, creating customer value and maximizing growth and business performance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Full accountability for the Team Augmentation Practice, including optimizing recruiting and sourcing, client account management and removing various operational impediments.  
    • Practice Building – Drive the overall growth of the practice through a combination of talent management, operational oversight efficiency of supporting functions.
    • Team & Individual Development – Maximize internal team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity, proper and timely placement of resources within the client account(s) to drive client and resource satisfaction.
    • Engagement Management – Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
    • Culture & Core Values - Enhance the Company’s culture and exemplify our core values on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintain daily operations/workflows of key areas and continuously improving existing processes and establishing new and improved ways of working;
  • Develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) processes, and proactively recommend strategies to grow Team Aug Practice presence in existing accounts;
  • Standardize positioning and our work framework in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position;
  • Increase and take ownership of internal operational efficiency in order to timely meet the clients’ requirements;
  • Maintain a tightly managed software developers pipeline matching the clients’ demand.
  • Standardize a unilateral process of collecting and breaking down detailed job requirements from existing and new prospective clients;
  • Grow the existing revenue base and establish a plan for future business growth;
  • Develop and cultivate executive-level relationships with key client organizations, strengthening our partnership, brand and quality across major organizational levels.  

Requirements:

  • An assertive take-charge individual who is able to flex and adapt quickly, but be highly competitive and goal-focused;
  • Prior management consulting, account management and staffing experience required.
  • A positive and energetic personality to engage in delivery kickoffs for Team Augmentation projects with clarity, efficiency and a positive customer experience;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a track record of taking operational ownership;
  • Strong knowledge around the people, processes and technologies within mid to enterprise-level organizations.
