Product Manager (Remote)

USA, USA · Architecture/Engineering
Sphere collaborates with clients worldwide to transform their organizations, embed technology and process into everything they do, and enable lasting competitive advantage. We combine global expertise with local insight to help people and companies turn ambitious goals into reality. At Sphere, we put people first and strive to be a changemaker by building a better future through innovation and technology.

Now our client, a high-growth, venture-backed fintech company that simplifies how large enterprises manage and execute supplier payments, is looking for a Product Manager. Their platform is used by different organizations across dozens of countries, streamlining procurement workflows for both buyers and vendors. The company is well-capitalized and scaling rapidly.

Responsibilities:
You'll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution. This is a hands-on product role where you'll identify what to build, define how it should work, and ensure it ships correctly and gets adopted by customers.

Discovery & Prioritization:
- Dig into operational pain points, customer feedback, and usage patterns to surface high-impact product opportunities
- Partner with senior leadership to align product priorities with business goals
- Manage a backlog of competing initiatives and make clear trade-off decisions

Specification & Execution:
- Own the end-to-end spec process — from initial problem framing through detailed functional requirements
- Bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and engineering by translating business logic into technical requirements
- Work closely with engineering and design to iterate on solutions before and during development

Go-to-Market & Adoption:
- Create launch materials, internal documentation, and client-facing guides for new features
- Monitor feature adoption post-launch and proactively address gaps in awareness or usability
- Track key metrics to evaluate impact and feed learnings back into the roadmap

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (finance, economics, engineering, CS, mathematics, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in technical product management, business analysis, or a technical problem-solving role with demonstrable output
- Background in fintech, financial services, consulting, or enterprise SaaS
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas), scripting (VBA, Python) is a bonus
- Clear, precise communicator — both written and verbal
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
- Proven ability to take a project from zero to launch with minimal hand-holding
