Our client, a car insurance company is now looking for a Data Analyst to take ownership of analytics, reporting, and BI dashboards for a growing AI-driven team within a leading technology organization. The team produces high volumes of production data, including model predictions, chatbot interactions, and operational automation. Currently, there is a need for a dedicated analyst to monitor, analyze, and visualize this data to provide actionable insights across the organization.
The role focuses on
Snowflake-based analytics,
DBT modeling, and
Looker dashboards. The analyst will work closely with ML engineers, data scientists, and the product manager, operating independently in a legacy BI environment.
Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake
- Build and maintain DBT models
- Design, develop, and maintain Looker dashboards (LookML)
- Create dashboards for:
- ML model performance (accuracy, regression metrics)
- Feature drift and data distribution over time
- AI chatbot usage and outcomes
- Operational AI metrics for the business
- Respond to ad-hoc analytical questions from product and engineering
- Collaborate with ML engineers on SQL AI and analytics automation
Requirements:
- Experience with SQL (production-level, complex analytical queries);
- Experience with Snowflake;
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool);
- Experience building dashboards using one of the BI tools (Looker is preferred);
- Experience with data warehousing;
- Ability to work independently in poorly documented environments;
- Experience with Git / version control;
- Experience with ML-related analytics (model metrics, feature drift) (preferred);
- Experience with Kafka-derived data (preferred);
- Experience working with AI / ML product teams (preferred).
