Our client is a leading company in the IT operations and incident management space, providing a platform for automation, monitoring, and system reliability. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) to support client onboarding, platform integrations, and backend optimization for enterprise deployments.
Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture & Integration
Design and implement custom solutions leveraging BigPanda’s platform for event ingestion and incident sharing.
Collaborate with Professional Services, Account Managers, Sales, and Engineering to capture customer/prospect feedback and influence the product roadmap.
Ensure measurable impact and customer success through solution adoption.
2. Customer-Facing & Handoff
Partner with Customer Success / Professional Services teams to ensure smooth transition from POC to live deployment.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers to adopt and expand the platform, identify additional use-cases, and achieve business outcomes.
Present and influence technical and executive stakeholders (SRE, NOC, CIO/VP Ops) on BigPanda’s role in digital transformation and operational resilience.
Experience as a Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar in enterprise SaaS (preferably AIOps, observability, ITSM/ITOM).
Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), REST APIs, and scripting in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Verbal and written communication skills; able to present technical content to non-technical audiences and customers.
Consultative mindset: listen to clients, ask insightful questions, and propose compelling solutions rather than just demos.
