We are looking for a Database Migration Specialist to join a legacy system modernization project. The goal is to analyze, migrate, and optimize a database originally built on MySQL and move it to MSSQL, while improving its structure, performance, and usability.

Type: Contract (part-time possible)
Location: Remote (preferred candidates in CIS time zones)
Duration: 1-3 months with possibility of extension

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current legacy database structure and application logic to build an accurate mapping of objects and entities.

• Migrate data and schema from MySQL to MSSQL, considering system-specific features and differences.

• Optimize database structure and queries to improve performance and scalability.

• Refactor and “clean up” existing database code, eliminating outdated or poorly structured logic.

• Ensure usability improvements for handling larger volumes of client data.

• Provide ongoing support, consultation, and propose technical improvements.

• Document key processes and changes.
